Connecting to a Mumble Server as admin for the first time

  1. Open the Mumble Client Software
  2. Click "Server" -> "Connect" on the menu bar to open the "Mumble Server Connect" dialog window as shown in the next step.

  3. Add the Server to your Favorites
    Click "Add New...".
    Enter a Label for your server such as "Fire Guild".
    Enter your mumble.com server address and port such as fireguild.mumble.com port 4000.
    Enter the username "admin". (with no quotes)
    Enter the password that was given to you inside your control panel as well as in the "Mumble Server Information" email.
    Click "OK".

  4. Connect to your server
    Click on your newly created server and click "Connect". This will connect your local certificate profile to the admin user on the Mumble Server; so from now forward you will be connected with admin privileges.

  5. Change your username
    It is likely you will want to change your username from 'admin' at this point. Please follow this guide to do so.
